Located just out side the Wing gates. 19 Wing Comox has been an integral part of west coast aviation since it was established in 1943. The museum has exhibits representing all stages of the base’s development and the various eras of our heritage. The museum display includes Heritage Park across from the Glacier Gardens Arena, which is home to many historic aircraft that you can see up close and the Y2K Spitfire Restoration Project.
Museum: Open to the Public Year Round, 10am – 4pm daily. Admission is by donation. Heritage Airpark: Open May to September, 10am – 4pm daily. Admission Free. Y2K Spitfire Project: Open most weekend afternoons, year round.
19 Wing MP Section
Dependents Pass: Dependents wishing a pass for 19 Wing Comox must complete a Dependents Pass Application and have it signed by the Member. This application can be obtained at the MP shack or on the BBS. When the application is completed, you will need to book an appointment with the Ident Section at Local 8621.
Operation Child Identification: The purpose of the Child Identification program is to assist police in locating lost or missing children. The identification process consists of an information booklet containing important information such as the child’s name, medical conditions, favorite hangouts, friends, etc. A recording of the child's speech and movement is made and a digital photograph is taken. The booklet and videotape are kept at the child’s home. The digital photograph is kept on file at the 19 Wing Military Police Section.
The 19 Wing Military Police believe in the safety of our children and thus provide this service annually, usually in the fall during REXSPO at the 19 Wing Recreation Center.

CANEX
The 19 Wing CANEX is located on Military Row next to the 19 Wing Fitness and Community Centre. It provides a variety of grocery and household items as well as furniture. Located in the CANEX building is the SISIP Office, Barber Shop and Razorz Hair Design.
Post Office
The post office for the mail service in the PMQ’s is located next to the CANEX across from the main gates to 19 Wing Comox. Post Office Boxes are available free of charge for DND Housing residents. The address for the PMQ will be PO Box #, Lazo, BCV0R 2K0.
